lol love u ruffles haha
Just got my NAUI Open Water Cert here in Texas. I am saving for my own gear and can't wait to further my diving experience.
What LDS did you get your certification from?
The Dive Shop-San Marcos
Just got my Padi Rescue Diver cert... also got Deep dive and dry suit diving specialty ... gonna do Nitrox very soon
Used to be a PADI Staff Instructor. Sadly I don't get to dive as much as I want to anymore. Work and family life tends to do that. But, things are smoothening out so the door shall open again. :)
NAUI Open Water and NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver.
My certifications are:
Open Water Instructor (SDI)
Dive Master (SDI)
Equipment Specialist (NASE)
Rescue Diver (NASE)
Advanced Open Water (NASE)
Open Water (NASE)
My experience ranges to almost all types of diving, except under ice diving. I have dived quarries, lakes, springs, sink holes, grottoes, open ocean, caves, and wrecks. To date, my deepest dive has been 110ft, and that was inside a cave. My most recent dive was in Nassau Bahamas with Stuart Cove's dive center, doing their awesome shark dive adventure (as sharks are my absolute greatest passion!).... Chalked #1 item off my bucket list!
"Man is the threat of the sea. We are the unwelcomed visitors. The onus is on us to leave it as we find it, and to be honored, perhaps un-earthed, by the attention of those animals who take us into their affections." ~ Stan Waterman
I'm certified through NAUI, and Advanced Scuba Diver through them as well.
I can't even swim xD
I have been diving for a few years, but live in a landlocked province... cant wait for an oculus rift and this to help quench my diving appetite
I'm honestly afraid of large bodies of water. I won't even go in a swimming pool.
I started diving at 12 or 13 years old. Today, at 19, I am Advanced open water and nitrox diver, and Iove video games so I guess here I get the best of both worlds. Diving is one of my passions and I am planning to go, at least, as far as dive master and do two or three specialty courses. Since there aren't many diving games around I hope this one reaches the top because it has the potential.
Work is for people who don't dive
Hi, I am Master Scuba Diver Trainer since 2009. Living in Hamburg, Germany, diving Baltic Sea, Lakes (Hemmoor, Sundhäuser See etc.), Mediterranean See (Medes, Gozo, Portofino, Kalkan) and Egypt (some places there). When I am not in the water with students I like doing underwater-videos.

PADI Open Water Driver
PADI Advanced Open Water Driver
Have been diving in Thailand, Australia, Egypt, and home in New Zealand.
Havn't been active for a couple of years now 8-(
Sadly living in Colorado don't see much diving.. last dive was early this year.. night dive with manta rays.. prior to that it was years, I did some diving in lake powell just to try to keep up with knowledge :(
I am an Advanced Open Water Diver with 11 Dives recorded, (Open Water certified 21 Sept 2014, Advanced certified 26 Oct 2014)
Dived in two locations with the Great Barrier Reef (Lode Stone and Keeper's Reef), as well as the S.S Yongala
I'm a PADI Open Water with 6 or 7 dives (don't have my logbook beside me right now). Funny, I didn't know how widespread diving was. I just casually meet other divers among people I already know.
Recreative certifications: Dry suit, Ice diver, Nitrox, Mark V (old helmet pumped from surface)
PADI Instructor: 10 specialities, Master Scuba Diver Trainer, IDC Staff
If I can help with something, please let me know.
I'd love to try such a Mark V Helmet one time!
I've tried spear fishing a few times and I like it a lot. Can't wait until summer! :)
I am currently an PADI Open Water Diver but I want to go a little further and have the Advanced.
I took my certificate in the Azores and have been diving also in Hurghada :)
Cave / Trimix diver here from the Netherlands. I'm also working with organisations such as ghostfishing cleaning old fishinggear from wreck so marine live doesn't get trapped anymore.
Sounds like a cool hobby scuba_fly! Welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy the game so far =)
After my refresher course I plan on going for advanced diving with nitrox as an added option.
Got my OWD last summer here at Texas State University. Looking for people to dive with.
I will make the OWD soon. But it is just not that fun here where i live. No ocean. Just cold lakes.
Diving for 15 years since moving to Australia from the UK. DM'd for a while here in Sydney and interned on a live-aboard in Vanuatu. Dive highlights include Chuuk Lagoon, Gizo, Dahab, Belize and the Great Barrier Reef.
Chuuk Lagoon is amazing and has some phenomenal wrecks!
Wow thats amazing. For what reason you went to Australia? Work?
Just travel. Ended up working here, staying here, marrying here ;)
Wow that is just amazing! =)
I just found your Youtube Link! That is incredible. Very nice movies. Wish i could go diving like you. I live in the middle of Europe. No ocean just small dark lakes and cold rivers. =(
Thanks for the link, I'll have to check out the videos in a few minutes.
PADI Divemaster + MSD here. A little over 500 dives with an emphasis on underwater photography and videography. Though it won't replace the real thing, I'm loving the potential this game has!
I am a NAUI scuba diver since 2002. I have been using AGA system. I was diving in Greece, Egypt, Medes Island, Malta...I haven't been active two years...therefore I'm glad to World of diving and DK2... this game is awesome!
Hello, Henric here. 3000+ dives, old military diver, now just dive for fun. Right now iam diving mostly sidemount, but also got all the stuf needed for tech diving down to 100+m, but as helium is geting expencive, iam thinking abut geting me an RB.
Wow, this is amazing. Welcome onboard! You had a great diving career. If possible try the word of diving with oculus rift DK2.
easyer just to get in the gear and jump in the water if i want to go VR ;) haha live next to the ocean and got every thing i need, dont think i will buy any VR stuf for my computer but this game is kind of fun when bored at work :) did 55m today to have a look at an old sunken submarine (Soviet submarine S8, lost 1942) :)
Not my photos but same wreck :)
very nice man!, thanks for sharing!
I´m an IT Manager, Programmer, Diver, Magician, Chef looking forward to write my first book, would love to become a Private Pilot, learning to flight in simulators. Living life at beautiful Barcelona 100 meters from the sea. Keep in touch and Rock On!
It must have been a great dive. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, but haven't dived in a long time.
I'm finishing off my PADI Open Water Diver qualification next Sunday from South Africa :)
Came across this game on steam and had to get it.
Hey folks! My name is Alexander Valdez, and I have recently graduated a MSD (Master Scuba Diver.) The MSD is awarded when you're already an AOWD plus 5 specialities, mine being Night, Nitrox, Deep, Wreck and Manta Ray Awareness - and I'm not done! There's still a long path ahead!
If you have any questions or if you're planning to dive for the first time, add me on facebook and we can talk! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011423663474&ref=bookmarks
I dive in Canada (Quebec)
I'm a AOWD with 8 specialty. (Enriched Air, Wreck, Buoyancy, Deep, Sidemount, Drysuit, Emergency Oxygen Provider and Rescue)
I mainly dive in dark and deep cold lake where the water is around 5 Celsius or less in summer
and diving in winter is a real pain to do because of the preparation needed to ice dive..
so the game is a good way to dive in the warm when it's cold
it's a bit missing in the technical part but still more realistic than the other diving game.
