How deep did you go in real life? I´m only allowed to go 40 meters down :)
I´m an IT Manager, Programmer, Diver, Magician, Chef looking forward to write my first book, would love to become a Private Pilot, learning to flight in simulators. Living life at beautiful Barcelona 100 meters from the sea. Keep in touch and Rock On!
Deepest dives with difrent gear.
224m North Sea. Saturation Diving.
124m Wreck Dive, HMHS Britannic. Greece. CCR.
83m Wreck Dive, Graf Zeppelin. Poland, Open Circuit.
Holy cow! Saturation Diving for fun or Wirkung down there?
It takes a long time right?
How does this work? You live in a pressure chamber for 26days. Is this chamber is submercible?
What are you doing down there? Welding Pipelines and oil rigs?
By the way sounds tough ... But awesome:)
its closed bell so we live on the ship inside a pressure chamber.
I wher a NATO Navy officer, so the work i will not talk abut.
This has to be like an astronaut.
There's a pretty good wikipedia entry about saturation diving:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturation_diving
And here's a nice documentary:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3BWSMrgi3I
My deepest dives are very shallow compared to you :)
Scuba diving in Dahab Egypt I went down to 25m.
And Apnoe freediving 17m.
My longest distance in freediving was 130m at 2m depth in a 50m swimming pool.
not to bad last time i wher in Egypt i whent down the Blue Hole of East Sinai. Alot of weight belts on the bottom ther.
Did you see the dead guy with the tank upwards at 116m?
I love Dahab!
My 17m dive was at Canyon to the entrance.
No dident see it, they asked if we wanted to go and see it, but all of us wher old navy/rescue divers so we dident feel the need to go and see a dead guy. but i dont under stand wy they dont do body recovery isent ther any good rescue divers in Egypt? isent to hard to go down to 130m and du some work with the right gear.
What is left is a wet suit with bones and a tank. They even could just bring down a rope with a hook on the tank:(
Recovery seems to be expensive and nobody knows this diver. Pretty sad.
The Israeli military once or twice recovered soliders divers with a mini submarine years ago.
okay just to bad even if he is unknown. its beter to have a grave next to the site marked unknown diver and the year of death then having his body beeing a turist thing :( but maybe thats just me :/
i know if i die somewher with in diving deepth il rather have that. or have some one to move me out to a deeper place wher no one will dive.
Here's a thread about Dahabs dive sites and blue hole: http://divegame.net/node/62381
pfff, creepy, poor guy...
