Graphical user interface conversion V2

Johann
This week I continued my work on converting the graphical user interface. The main menu is now done except for the settings screen. What still had to happen in the main menu (and other parts of the interface) was the InputIconButton. This is the component we use to show a button which functions as a regular button when using the mouse and keyboards, but converts to a sort of 'console button' when a gamepad is used as the primary input. This means it shows an icon displaying the button on the gamepad. Other than that, a couple of other things had to happen to get the main menu to this state, like putting backgrounds behind the screens, and making a scrolling tile controller component. Fortunately, this can all be used in other parts of the game as well.

Console and error fixing

Jeroen
This week I've been working on fixing the ps4 build, which had some problems since converting to the latest unity version. I've also been fixing some other bugs that were left to be fixed, like some Steam workshop bugs and a few multi-player bugs. Steam workshop should be more robust now, because of added error checking.

I've also been busy with testing the game to see if all controller configurations and platforms work with the new controller system. in multi-player, to make sure that there are no added difficulties which could have arisen because of the new unity version. We do rely for a large part on third party software for our games, so it's essential to check that they keep working after unity updates.

Yet another lighting update

Richard
With all the new Unity upgrades lately I had to revisit the visuals of the game; making sure the underwater wrecks, stones, fishes and sandy bottom looks like it should. I've also worked on improving the water shader. Its a little too early to show the results, but its progressing very nicely. Stay tuned for more on this soon.

And oh (not really development related) but Steam is having it's exploration sale this weekend: World of Diving is now 45% off: grab your copy now! ;-)

Happy Diving and thank you all for supporting the development!

Thanks for the update guys. I hope that the Unity updates have a minimum impact on your work and the third party software.
